Ed Ramirez is a native of San Bernardino with experience in criminal and civil law. He goes the extra mile for his clients.
Ed has had a varied career, starting with the practice of law at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office as a criminal attorney. He conducted numerous jury trials in Los Angeles County courts in cases such as driving under the influence (DUI), use of controlled substances, domestic violence, child and elder abuse, theft, hit and run, prostitution, lewd conduct, battery, trespass, and many others. He trained other attorneys to conduct trials and he wrote training materials on winning trials.
Criminal Defense
Ed also practiced criminal defense at a firm in Glendale, California, representing clients in all criminal courts in Los Angeles County.
Civil Law
In private practice in Santa Clarita, Ed practiced personal injury, real property and employment law, assisting clients throughout Los Angeles County and gaining admission to the Federal bar.
Ed was born and grew up in San Bernardino, California, graduating from San Bernardino High School and later from UCLA. He served as a staff services manager in California state government in Sacramento. Ed enlisted in the Army Reserve and trained as a combat engineer, learning demolitions, land mine warfare, road obstacles, rigging and bridge building. He earned his jump wings at Fort Benning Jump School and became a commissioned officer after graduating from Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning. While in the army reserve and the California National Guard, Ed began studying at Loyola Law School, was admitted to the California Bar and began work at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
